Louisiana Style Crawfish Boil for 15-20 Guests

A Crawfish Boil is a Louisiana tradition appropriate for our Delta region too! Gather 'round with a group of friends and family for spicy and delicious crawfish and "fixings" (sausages, potatoes, corn, mushrooms, pineapple, sweet potatoes, garlic, and spices.) Socialize with a Louisiana Abita beer in hand while the food is boiled in a gigantic pot outside over a propane burner. When the food is done and poured out onto a table covered in paper, find a good standing spot at the table's edge and feast your eyes on the colorful spread. Learn how to peel the crawfish and dig into the delicious meal. A crawfish boil is a social and delicious affair!

This boil party includes the preparation of the boil, enough crawfish and fixings for 15 to 20 guests, a case of Louisiana Abita beer, tables for the meal, "lessons" on how to peel the crawfish, New Orleans style brass band music playing off the iPod, and lots of paper towels for the spicy mess. All you need to do is provide a backyard (or driveway as is often done in New Orleans!) and invite your family and friends.

Boil will be prepared by SWS Grade 10 family Andrew, Stasia, and Miles.

Suggested dates: Any Sunday afternoon/early evening between May to September, 2024 (crawfish season is May to September). Date must be mutually agreed upon a month in advance.

Value: $1,000.00

Eliminate the frustration and have your own parking space right across from the office in the front lot. Sign will be put up in the Lower School Parking Lot before the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year. The lucky winner of the Parking Spot may keep the space for the whole 2024/2025 school year.
