Fund-a-Need 2025 in support of the Campus Stewardship Fund
Help us reach our 2025 Campus Stewardship Fund goal of $100,000 to enhance the quality of our school grounds. The funds raised this year will go towards two different projects:
Initial Track & Field Repairs and Improvements - Estimate: $28,500
Amount raised so far: $15,000
The track and field is a vital part of our campus, serving the entire school community. Last year, we launched a fundraising campaign to support much-needed improvements. However, we need to secure the remaining funds to kick off the project which will include:
- Resurface and lay decomposed granite (DG) on the track
- Remove grass and weeds from approximately 16,000 sq. ft. of existing DG track, then rip and process the surface.
- Add 1-2 inches of imported DG where necessary to ensure proper water runoff.
- Mix approximately 10,000 lbs of Portland cement into the DG surface to minimize future erosion and shifting.
- Water and compact the surface using a smooth drum roller.
Driveway Hill Asphalt Improvements – Estimate: $75,000
The driveway hill – we’re all familiar with the condition of the hill we travel up and down, often twice a day. Fundraising for this project will help cover the essential repairs, ensuring that our vehicles are no longer subjected to run-ins with persistent potholes. The project will include:
- Asphalt resurfacing of both the driveway hill and the lower parking lot.
This is a significant investment, and raising the necessary funds will allow the Facilities Department to collaborate with a contractor and schedule the work as soon as we reach our goal.
Your support will help us move forward with these vital improvements.
Thank you for your contribution!
