Digital Photography Class: Class of 2022 Parents
Ever wondered how to take truly good pictures? Well, wonder no longer. Sean Thomas, a first grade class parent and professional photographer and instructor of photography, will remove the blindfold from your eyes and the mystique from your camera. Get out of "Auto mode" and become the master of your camera and your surroundings. Discover the key features of your DSLR camera through hands-on exercises, visual examples and demonstration. Sean will spend the first half of class teaching you the ins and outs of your camera and the second half of class providing you with the opportunity to put your new knowledge to work. The first grade class parents will provide you with a scrumptious lunch to fuel your learning. Bring your camera, manual and questions. Saturday, May 21st, from 10-2pm at Sacramento Waldorf School limited to 10 people.

Backyard Family Movie Night-Class of 2020 Parents
Put on your pajamas, bring a chair and blanket, and snuggle down to enjoy the move, "Chicken Run" (rated G)! The Parents of the Class of 2020 (Gr. 3) will provide plenty of free popcorn, cookies and lemonade to keep everyone happily munching.
Place: The Hinman Family backyard (Carmichael)
Date: Saturday, May 7 (Rain date is May 21)
Time: Doors open at 7 p.m.; Movie starts at 8 p.m.
There is only space for 20 families at $10 per person, so reserve your chair/blanket spot quickly before somebody else does!

Four Culinary Classes: Class of 2016 Parents
Whether it's a simple supper or an important dinner party, there are few things more enjoyable then sharing a delicious meal with the people you love. Sharing a home cooked meal is a celebration of food, family and friends. Time to relax, reconnect and nourish. Come to the table. It's time to eat!
This event will be held at Donna Smith's home in El Dorado Hills and can accommodate 15 cooking enthusiasts.
* Class One: Risotto - This legendary northern Italian dish is very versatile as it can be embellished with sweet or savory additions.
* Class Two: Cooking up Comfort - Wholesome home cooked meals fill us with a sense of well being, recall happy childhood memories, create new family memories, and bring comfort and satisfaction to mind and body.
* Class Three: Summer Sauces - Whether it's a finishing touch or an essential component, a sauce should seamlessly complement the dish it accompanies.
* Class Four: Better Burgers - Learn new ways to make that summer BBQ favorite- the burger- better then ever. Stuff them with savory fillings, try chicken burgers, enticing accomplishments, seafood burgers and more.

Country Style Dinner: Class of 2018 Parents
Country in the City Dinner at " The Magnolia Farmhouse" hosted by families of the Fifth Grade at Bill and Susan Hixson's. Leave your city worries behind you for the evening and enjoy a country style dinner in a 95 year-old Victorian farmhouse, on acres of land, just five minutes from Sac Waldorf School. This is a sign-up dinner for 20 people. (You might like to buy a pair of tickets for your teacher and their guest!). Come and join us on: Saturday May 21, 2011 from 6 to 10 p.m. Take advantage of our very personal Valet Parking service, then explore the grounds and barn, and meet everyone over tasty hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
